Who I Work With
I see clients with an array of concerns, but I tend to work a lot with adults who want to improve their self-esteem and self-compassion, process childhood experiences, and grow toward the future
Typical mental health concerns I work with are anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, and ADHD.
My Specialities
I treat clients from a person-centered liberation framework, empowering my clients to explore themselves and their goals. I specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ community and neurodivergent populations. I use modalities such as somatic therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy to empower clients to feel better and show themselves love.
What Sessions Will Look Like
Before our first session together, you will get sent access to the client portal where you will complete intake paperwork. If you are using insurance you will be asked to provide insurance information before our first session as well.
In the first session, we will discuss the information you provided in your intake forms, including history, concerns, and goals. Once we review your goals, we will talk about the next steps. Everyone’s journey is different, and you are the expert in your own experience. We will prioritize building a therapeutic relationship and I will provide tools for exploring and building your best life.

This is an individual decision, there are many reasons why people go to therapy and all are valid. You may be interested in therapy if you struggle with mental health symptoms such as anxiety or depression, if you want to process past trauma, improve interpersonal relationships, improve coping skills, or any other number of reasons. If you believe that working through some concerns with an unbiased person outside of your circle would be beneficial, then therapy might be right for you.
-
Therapy is confidential, except for a few scenarios: if you are a minor, your guardian may be entitled to know some information about sessions, if you sign a release of information giving me permission to discuss your care with someone else, or if you threaten to harm yourself or others.
-
This looks different for everyone and depends on what your goals are. If you are hoping to work through a specific troubling event, for example, you may feel comfortable ending therapy after a few sessions. However, if you are hoping to explore deeper work such as trauma work or inner-child work, you might stay in therapy a bit longer. We will work together to figure out what will be most appropriate.
-
This can be tough, especially if you don’t know what to expect from a therapist. Trust your gut, if you feel like you have not made a valuable connection with your therapist or their therapy style does not seem to be helping you, it may be appropriate to seek help elsewhere.
-
You will get an email providing you with portal access. Before our first session you will need to complete the paperwork sent to you from the portal.
-
Typically, clients start with sessions weekly or bi-weekly, but this will depend on what you are most comfortable with and what is most appropriate for your concerns.
